What makes this mask unique are the silicone eyepieces. They create a moisture chamber around the eyes that helps to reduce tear film evaporation while also completely blocking out light. By helping keep moisture in and airflow out, the mask helps to protect and hydrate the eyes throughout the night.

Proprietary Dry Eye Protection

The silicone eye pieces form a sealed chamber around each eye. Inside that chamber, humidity builds and stays, keeping the ocular surface hydrated hour after hour while dry air, drafts, and irritants stay out. Apply your drops or ointment before bed and the seal keeps them working through the night.

Now Even More Comfortable

We've spent years thinking about dry eye and sleep, and everything we learned went into this mask. It's our lightest, lowest-profile design ever, with a one-piece stretch band that breathes, adjustable eye pieces that fit your face, and two shapes matched to real sleeping positions. Because the best sleep mask is the one you never notice.

How to Use

This is our third generation and easier to use, fall asleep with, and stay asleep with, than ever. To get started, wash the silicone eye pieces with soap and water. Apply a pea sized amount of nighttime drops or ointment before putting your mask on to keep eyes fully moisturized throughout the night. Adjust the eye pieces until no light gets in around the edges. That's it! Time to rest those eyes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is different about Gen 3 versus previous versions?

The Hydrating Sleep Mask 3 is our most comfortable design to-date. It's lighter weight and lower profile than any previous Blinkjoy sleep mask. It also comes in two versions based on how you sleep. The Side Sleeper features a significantly tapered outer edge that disappears when you roll onto your side. The Back Sleeper features deeply vaulted eye cups for extra clearance and coverage.

How does it help with symptoms associated with dry eye?

The silicone eye pieces form a sealed chamber around each eye. Inside that chamber, humidity builds and stays, keeping the ocular surface hydrated hour after hour while dry air, drafts, and irritants stay out. Apply your drops or ointment before bed and the moisture seal from your Hydrating Sleep Mask 3 keeps the added lubrication working through the night.

What if my eyes still feel dry?

Tear deficiency is a common issue for those with dry eyes. To boost hydration, first apply optometrist-recommended nighttime gel drops or ointment before putting on your Blinkjoy mask. This step will help maximize ocular hydration and the mask’s effectiveness throughout the night.

How do I clean my mask?

Your mask and eye pieces are machine washable on gentle cycles with cold water and a mild or hypoallergenic detergent—then air dry for 24 hours. Do not put your mask in the dryer.

How do I clean the silicone eye cups?

While the eye cups are made from 100% medical-grade silicone to resist bacterial buildup, we recommend washing them with soap and water before each use to remove any dirt or debris.

How tight should my mask be?

Make sure to fit the mask snugly around your head (not too loose, not too tight) and adjust the eye pieces to rest comfortably over each eye. If you feel intense pressure against your cheeks or brow line, the mask is too tight.

How do I find the right fit for the adjustable eye pieces?

Each eye piece is adjustable to ensure a perfect fit around the eyes. To adjust, detach the Velcro backing and move each eye piece left or right, up or down, or rotate it to your desired position. Once the eye pieces are in place, check for any light leakage around the edges. If no light leaks in, you’ve found the ideal position for use.

Will I experience marks around my eyes in the morning?

Individuals with sensitive or thin skin may experience slight indentations for a short time after use. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend applying a gentle, skin-protecting ointment or nighttime moisturizer to the delicate skin around the eyes prior to use of your mask.
